DaveMP 1.0 released
Today I am releasing 1.0 of DaveMP - a lightweight music player web interface.

What does it do? Well, the short version is that it gives you a very nice music player application straight in your browser window. Right now it relies on you having MPD as your audio player (which is available for most unixes, as well as Mac OS X via
darwinports) but support for other players is possible and planned.

What makes it different is that it is completely self contained - it does not require Apache, or any web server, nor does it require PHP, mysql, or much of anything else. Perl and one perl module is all you need. Oh, and with everything running it eats a max of about 6% CPU including micro-webserver firefox and mpd. :-)

See the README for more details. The README and tar file can be found in the
files section. More screenshots are available in the screenshots section.
